Biography – Angelique Caplette
Angelique Caplette is a Canadian photographer whose creative journey began at just 17, when she was gifted a Canon AE1 by a close friend. That camera became the spark for a lifelong passion, as she immersed herself in film photography and began capturing the vibrant lives and moments of those around her. By the age of 21, her dedication led to her first group exhibition, marking the beginning of a career defined by both curiosity and bold expression.
After relocating to Toronto, Angelique quickly established herself as a dynamic editorial and media photographer. Her work has been featured in over 30 magazines, celebrated for its striking balance of artistry and storytelling. She also released a beautifully curated coffee table book, further cementing her reputation as a versatile and innovative visual artist.
Today, Angelique continues to expand her creative practice, developing new collections for upcoming exhibitions while drawing inspiration from her remarkable past achievements.
